Slopeside Village at Park City, an innovative and contemporary project, is an unprecedented public-private partnership between Canyons Village Management Association, Columbus Pacific Development and Summit County and will offer over 1,100 residents year-round, flexible housing options as Canyons Village at Park City Mountain continues its vibrant expansion. This project was created to accomodate the necessary housing for the Canyons Village SPA and resort area. This first-of-its-kind groundbreaking endeavor will deliver upon one of CVMA’s core initiatives to provide a year-round, beneficial and convenient work environment for employees and families.
Columbus Pacific Development, LLC (CPD) has been chosen as the developer for Slopeside Village at Park City. CPD, an existing developer within The Canyons Specially Planned Area (SPA) with projects such as Apex Residences and the Pendry Park City, brings a vast array of proven experience and innovation to this project.
Employee housing accommodations is located on 7.7 acres in the Lower Village (parcel LV6-A), adjacent to the Cabriolet lift, Canyons Village Transit Hub, White Pine Canyon Residences, Residences at Blackstone and holes 14 and 15 of Canyons Golf. Construction began in early June of 2021, with a phased opening anticipated in the summer of 2022 and a final completion date in December of 2023.
With access to convenient transportation offerings such as the free public transit system, Canyons Village Connect and the Cabriolet lift that whisks individuals into the village center, this affordable project will be a game changer for the many employers within Canyons Village, including Park City Mountain and the numerous year-round lodging, retail and dining establishments.

CPD, which has partnered with Elliott Workgroup, R&O Construction and Homestead U (for architectural, planning and development services), has a portfolio value exceeding $1 billion and a strong, successful track record in building projects similar to this employee housing project, including 14 student housing properties (with over 4,000 units / 10,000 beds) and 14 retail centers (with almost three million square feet of commercial properties).
