Don’t miss these great reasons to spend some time in Canyons Village.
Nestled between the I-80 highway and Park City proper sits Canyons Village. This neighborhood offers world-class skiing and biking, as well as a plethora of elevated dining (literally, sitting at over 6,000 feet of elevation).
Between the new and longer-standing developments in the area, there’s plenty of diverse dining options to satisfy anyone. With the continued Big Stars, Bright Nights concert series, why not make a whole evening out of it? Check out some of the most stunning dining experiences to kick off your night.
Taste of Pendry

If you’ve been following Dishing, you already know Pendry Park City offers some of our favorite newer dining options in Park City. This weekend, the Taste of Pendry food festival lines up with the concert series and will take place on Saturday from 3 – 6 p.m. This second annual event will feature various dishes and drinks from the Pendry restaurants to sample while you relax on the plaza. Live music, a kid’s zone and treats for your furry friends will make this more fun for everyone. Attendees are encouraged to explore all the retail shops on the plaza as well as a trunk show from The Montana Territory Hat Company.
Hyatt Centric: Three-Course Dinner

Nestled inside the Hyatt Centric Park City is Escala Provisions Company Restaurant & Bar, a great way to refuel after a long day on the mountain. If you’re lucky enough to get a table during the Big Stars, Bright Nights concert series, you’ll have the option to enjoy a three course, chef-curated, pre-fixe dinner menu. For just $80 (not including alcohol), you get a meal, valet parking and a concert blanket.
The pre-fixe menu will offer the following menu items to choose from:
- Course 1:
- Chicken Tortilla Soup: avocado, jalapeno crema, pepitas
- Watermelon Feta Salad: cherry tomato, crispy quinoa, basil, berry and chili vinaigrette, mint
- Course 2:
- Mushroom Ramen: miso broth, crispy chili garlic, soy marinated egg, nori
- Pan Seared Duck Breast: lemon & lavender jus, cornbread, stone-fruit and blueberry chutney
- Market Fish: house-made seafood ravioli, lemon buerre blanc, crispy shallots, micros salad
- Course 3:

- Classic Cheesecake: stone-fruit & blueberry compote, citrus whipped cream, ginger snap crumble
Edge Steakhouse

With meats cooked to perfection and private globes to dine in, Edge Steakhouse has it all. Located right at the base of Canyons Village and in the main village plaza, you can’t miss it. Both the proximity to the concerts, and incredible cuisine makes a great reason to book a reservation.
Powder at Waldorf Astoria Park City

Unbeatable mountain views, coupled with indulgent dishes, are always on the menu at Powder at Waldorf Astoria Park City. Like many Waldorf establishments, this restaurant features local ingredients to create a specialized menu like no other. Try it out while you can still enjoy a seat on the deck this summer.
