Crystalline Wonder
by Anna Leigh Moore
Gondola Artwork
Have you ever seen snow under a microscope?
When we zoom in, each individual snowflake is its own, geometrically unique sculpture. Like many other crystals, snowflakes are prismatic and both reflect and refract light into a full spectrum of rainbow magic.
Now—what would happen if we entered that microscopic, magical world built entirely from ice crystals? Inspired
by snow, this design utilizes an array of iridescent materials to transfix the viewer with ever-shifting light on every surface.
At the center of the design is a very curious crystal deer who is inspecting a snowflake in the forest. May this gondola give you permission to bask in the sparkly magic of winter, and allow your childlike curiosity to guide you.
*Can you find the silver snowflake?

Meet Anna
I’m a Park City based painter who finds inspiration in the wild lands of the West. As an artist, my deepest joy comes from tracing the landscape with my physical body— and then immortalizing that experience in paint. Sublime moments in nature inform my art, while the act of creating brings soul to every outdoor adventure. My art honors the unique landscape of Utah— from snowy Wasatch peaks, to the sandstone cliffs of the south. Using a variety of mediums, I focus on the jagged line where the earth and sky meet. I hope my paintings spark joy and wonder, calling you to explore the natural world around you.
